Crap, I've been tagged. Dang you Lindsey!
Oh well, I tag whoever feels like being tagged.

Here goes....

Last 3 Favorite Purchases
  1. Reese's Halloween costume (I'm slacking this year)
  2. Baby Gates (Just don't forget that you have a black one at the end of your stairs... running down the stairs in the dark makes for some bruised legs, and a scratched railing)
  3. My black underwears... I like black underwears. (I'm kidding, it's a family joke) Actually, I'll have to say that I'm loving my case of Coke.

3 Favorite Movies

  1. The last Bond movie was pretty good
  2. Nacho Libre and Napolean are tied
  3. I love the Pirates of the Carribean movies

  2. Cowboy bake... kids fav too
  3. Steak topped with shrimp and parmesan cheese.

3 Favorite TV shows

  3. Newport Beach again

3 Favorite Treats

3 Things I'd buy if money weren't an issue

  1. A dining room set... I'm sick of the big empty room. All though it's easy to vaccuum in there.
  2. A contractor to finish the basment.
  3. A souped up minivan. That's right, I said minivan. I love the one I have, I just want some more features.

There I did it.

The Zoo

Reese Is One!!

I'm glad I didn't make chocolate cupcakes, vanilla is way less messier!

Yay.... I ate my cupcake all gone!

(Okay, we thought she did, but when I took her out of her seat, half of it was on her lap)!
I must say that the last year has FLOWN by. I swear we were just barely waking up to feed her twice a night, and changing her 20 times a day.
Every one of our babies is more fun than the last. I think that the older we get, the more we enjoy every little thing. It's also been such a blast having the older girls share in all her milestones.
Reese is such a funny little thing! She is definatley our most active baby, and isn't afraid of much. She dips her face in the pool and bath tub, and thinks it's hilarious. She's also a pro at climbing the stairs, and we have a ton, so it's been tricky childproofing.
Reese is just starting to show off for people.... loving the praise.
She tries to copy our words and sounds. Her new word today was "Addie". DJ and Reese were chasing my niece around the house, and DJ was calling out for her. The next thing we knew, she was saying, "Add - ee, where-oh-oo?" I love it!!
Reese has been such a delight. I have enjoyed every second with her... even when she figured out how to take off her dirty diaper, and managed to get poop everywhere (hands, feet, face, hair, binky, clothes, bumper pads, and sheet). Two baths, and an extra hot load of laundry later, we laughed about how funny it was.
I can't wait to see what the next year has in store for her.
We love our little Reesy girl!

St George Trip

Last week we decided to spend 5 days in St George. DJ and Tay weren't so sure about it, but Ginny loves any adventure, so she was excited to go.

I was happy to get away from the daily chores, and got a little reading in. The girls had a blast swimming at the condo... that's all they wanted to do.

DJ and the girls had never been to Zions, so were set off for a day of hiking and exploring. We ended up taking the girls on a "Moderate" hike that was about a mile, and we had a blast!! Huge drop offs, and tiny trails made it a bit scary with 3 little kids, but looking out over the canyon was definately worth it. Reese was on DJ's back in a baby pack, and she kept peering over the side, down into the canyon. It was so funny! My girls are alot braver than I thought they were.

Also, we were able to hit "In N Out" twice, which is always a good thing! I let Reese hold my drink, and she thought she was was the coolest thing ever! Ginny and Tay can pound about as much as I can.... which is a TON!!

We ended up having a great time, and we can't wait to go back soon.

Ginny's 3rd and Final Year of Preschool

Ginny started preschool back up a few weeks ago, and boy does she love it!! There is nothing cuter than a little kid running into school.
Of couse she had to wear a dress, and her shiny red shoes.
So far, I'm lucky enough to have kids that don't mind going to nursery/school/primary.
Let's just hope that Reese follows her sisters lead.

Vampires, Wherewolves, and Bella.... Oh My!

Yes I am officially a nerd! I went to Walmart Friday at midnight, to buy the crazy vampire book!
Walmart was packed, but my friend had called ahead and found out that they had 2000 copies.
When we showed up, there was a line stretched halfway around the inside of the store. We found the back, and within a few minutes the line started moving very quickly (we were walking at regular pace)
It turns out that they started handing out the books, and then had you line up at a register until midnight. It was great, we got to be about 7th in line, and were out of there in just a few minutes.
Now, in case you were wondering, I am not a very big fan of these books (GASP)! I think that the author drags everything on for about 10 minutes longer than needed. These books should be about half the length. She is very repetitious, and her editor always misses a million mistakes.
That said, the idea is very intriguing, so I have continued to read them.
At the end of the day, it was fun feeling like a teenager for a little while, and leaving the family home while I hang out with friends in the middle of the night.
I'm a little over half way done, and I'm not so sure... I'll have to see what happens!!
Ladies, please don't hate me!
